Cristina Varga

Cristina was born and raised in Romania where she started dancing at an early age.

At 7 years old, she became part of the Latin & Ballroom Dance Club in her city ran by Illes Valentin & Luminita where she quickly grew in becoming a professional dancer by competing in various national & international competitions. Before moving to UK, thanks to her experience she got the opportunity to be an instructor, teaching children Latin & Ballroom at her local dance club, Alegria.

Apart from this, she has been in her school’s cheerleading group for 10 years and moreover,. Her dance background lies in Hip Hop, Street Dance & Break-dance but she has also done some training in belly dance, contemporary and ballet. Her competitions in Latin & Ballroom but also the Hip Hop ones got her into finals winning awards up to the 3rd place. On the other hand, she has not only competed but also performed at various events, weddings, clubs & TV shows.

In 2010 she moved to the UK for studies and with all that background she could not stay away from her main passion, Latin dance, so she joined the Salsa World where she got introduced to Cross body & Cuba salsa but also some other styles such as Bachata, Kizomba & Zouk. First, at the Dance Society of the University she attended but after a few years, by moving to London she joined City Academy, Simply Dancing Partners plus she became part of Otradanz, Rueda Del Mundo and FK Dance. This is when she started performing on national & international stages in the Salsa scene. In addition to this she appeared in music videos in London of: Abstrakt, Musik Maestro, Scarlet Hill & Fiona Bennett.

Now, after being part of FK Dance for more than a year, she became the dance partner of Fadi K together with whom she is preparing a show.
